As a copywriter, I try to share as many resources with people as possible. This is especially the case with marketing resources. Learning about the many sides of marketing is not easy. Beyond learning about your target audience are terms and concepts that may be difficult to understand. Furthermore, remembering it all can be a challenge. However, in my opinion, the best way to learn and remember is through examples, especially ones you like.
Copyblogger’s Content Marketing Video Series
Copyblogger is an invaluable resource to anyone with any skill level who is interested in copywriting. It has practical advice, professional opportunities and awesome videos.
Enter the resource I’m about to share with you.
I came across Copyblogger’s content marketing series when years ago, I was looking to improve my own skills. SEO was a particular thorn in my side. It’s an everchanging concept that, at the time, I found hard to understand and keep up with. Copyblogger’s video about it was the thing that made it click. Sometimes, that’s how it is: it takes information presented in a specific way for things to finally make sense.
So, I’m sharing it with you so that hopefully, content marketing becomes less of a thorn in your side. Watch the full series below:
Over to you
As I did last week, I encourage you to take some time to view this resource. The videos are short and sweet, making them perfect to watch when you have a few minutes to spare. After you’ve watched them, go back to the Marketing Examples blog post and pinpoint how these concepts are being used. For example, see where you can identify A/B testing and SEO keywords and how they worked (or didn’t work) for certain examples.
